If you go by Pershore, have a peek into the Number 8 Arts Centre where there’s always an exhibition to be seen. For the next six weeks, we have a display of Lovers’ Orchard work, specially featuring three of our Worcester graduates Anna Mitchell, Jeannie Brown and Claire Watson.
(also work for sale and display by artists Jose Lucas, Sam Fenner, Rita Thorn, Mrs McIndoe, David Goodenough and Peter Calvesbert and Carolyn Morris).
We’re busy here in the orchard today making ready for an exhibition of some of our artists’ work starting this week.
will be taking over the cabinets at Number 8 Arts Centre in Pershore for six weeks from Thursday. As well as showcasing some of our Lovely Lovers’ Orchard things, there will be a brilliant exhibition of work by three of our Worcester graduate artists Claire Watson, Anna Mitchell and Jeannie Brown. Do come and call by (and make sure you go upstairs!!). More pics soon, in the meantime, here’s a particularly romantic print by Worcester Porcelain Museum’s printmaking expert Jose Santos – it will feature in the exhibition – we don’t have to explain why 😀
Preparations are under way for our first venture out to one of Worcestershire’s great events this weekend – the (newly) ‘Royal’ Three Counties Show.
It’s one of the biggest andmost prestigious livestock and countryside shows in Britain and visitors flock to enter their animals and produce and enjoy the attractions from all corners of the country and beyond.
We’ll have our little stall just near the food market area (yum!) and near enough to the main arena to dash out for a look at the giant bulls, beautiful horses and the other amazing sights which make it such a great place to go. Come and say hello and you can enter our free prize draw as well. Hooray! See you there 🙂
We have the honour of being on the famous Moreton Market, in Moreton-in-Marsh tomorrow. We’ll be taking goodies and cards, and some new things not online yet.
Come and say hello if you’re passing. Looks like it will be a lovely day for it! 🙂
Sharing these lovely pics – just because it’s a beautifully crafted apple seat, and we’d have it in the orchard given half the chance! It’s on show at Wyndcliffe Court Sculpture Garden near Chepstow, on the edge of the Forest of Dean. (and we’re remembering the glorious weather last bank hol!) Made by Handspring Design.
So it’s sunny!! 😀 – it’s been so long coming – we’re taking a couple of days off to creep out squinting into the brightness of spring. We leave you with a little merry pic – of some our softy, gorgeous lavender-filled bunting (just the thing for sweet dreams in your caravan, we reckon!) Have a brilliant bank holiday (if you’re in the uk) or a wonderful weekend wherever you are. 🙂
